Application to register can be made via the reception desk. Any patients registered with another local practice may be asked for additional information in support of their application to join our practice list.
At the time of registering you will be notified of your right to express which doctor you wish to receive services from. Where possible we will endeavour to grant this request.
Please note that patients are seen at the surgery by appointment only. You are free to attend any of the doctors irrespective of whom the doctor you are registered with as named on your medical card. All patients who need to be seen on an urgent basis will be seen that day, although not necessarily by his or her own doctor. Please reserve these requests for matters which cannot wait for a routine appointment.
Requests for non-urgent visits should be made before 10am. Patients are expected to come to the surgery if at all possible as there is a better range of facilities available on the premises.
Please note that you are seen at the surgery by appointment only. You are free to attend any of the doctors. The doctors are available most days of the week, however, some of the doctors do not work on a full time basis and will therefore be days of the week when they are not on duty. One day every two weeks each doctor will be doing house calls all day and therefore will not have surgery appointments that day. If you need to be seen on an urgent basis you will be seen that day, although not necessarily by your own doctor. Please reserve these requests for matters, which cannot wait for a routine appointment.
To avoid your disappointment please note that an appointment is for a consultation about one condition only.
